As of 2009 Maktren-Nafta remains the only Russian operating
terminal for handling LPG (LPG-terminal). Designed for a year-round
navigation and has transport links to the Black Sea through the
Kerch Strait. The first phase of terminal was commissioned by early
2007 and started handling LPG in March 2007. Since then the
operating terminal has significantly expanded the geography of
export outward shipment of LPG, the company authorities said. The
cargo was delivered to the Black Sea countries (Turkey, Bulgaria,
Romania) and the Mediterranean (Greece, Serbia, Albania,
Italy).
