EleSy takes part in a round table discussion on Training Staff for an Innovative Economy

On February 4, 2011 Sergey Chirikov and Alexander Ratakhin, top executives of EleSy, took part in a round table discussion on on the topic "Training Staff for an Innovative Economy", which included a Moscow-Tomsk video conference. The event was associated with an opening ceremony of RIA Novosti's Regional Media Center in Tomsk. Russian Minister of Education and Science Andrei Fursenko, RusNano and Skolkovo top executives gathered in a Moscow studio to take part in the video conference. Joining the conference from the studio in Tomsk were top officials from Tomsk and the Tomsk Region, including Governor Viktor Kress and speakers of the Tomsk regional and city legislatures, rectors of Tomsk universities and heads of innovative companies.

Discussing innovations the participants pointed out production of high-technological equipment for creation of nanostructural non-metal non-organic coatings that are formed by microarc oxidation technology, a join project of EleSy, RusNano and Tomsk State University. All participants of the discussion concurred that the training for an innovative economy lacked consolidation of scientific and educational institutions with business, and worked out joint cooperation efforts to provide knowledge and skills to for the innovation economy.
